Possibly take photos on a darker, slightly more overcast day. The sunlight allows for good highlights, but tends to wash out the overall depth of the water. The bottom right corner of this image seems really neat with the patterns of light/shadow on the surface AND bottom of the stream. For the series of three photos above, same sort of thing, just seems a little lacking in depth of light. Also, if at all possible try to eliminate the trees from the bottom of the image. They're of such a similar quality to the water that they don't allow you to appreciate what's going on with the water itself. Of the three I'd go for one of the last two.
